It is hard to believe that Northcott Beaton (NB) has been providing Insurance services for 25 years and as one of the founding directors of the business, I can say with hand on heart that it has been an enjoyable yet challenging journey. We will complete our 25th year in June 2016 and, to celebrate, I am delighted to be able to share our new website with you, a site which reflects the positive changes that we have undergone. We have even incorporated an online ordering facility which allows consumers to purchase insurance products and property reports, some of which can both inform them about the property that they are wishing to purchase and potentially protect their costs incurred in the event that the worst happens and the transaction falls through.
The early years of NB saw us as a Coversure franchise where we specialised in personal insurances – your car, your house and your travel were our meat and drink. The advent of some of the online insurance ‘supermarket’ offerings led to a change of emphasis and we moved towards dealing with commercial and business insurance. This coincided with NB moving away from the Coversure franchise and the emergence of Northcott Beaton Ltd in 2000.
Also in 2000, we started our sister business PSSW Conveyancing Solutions who deal with reports associated with the property purchase process. This really gave us the impetus, and vehicle, to enter the legal indemnities market which continues to play a major part within both of our organisations to this very day.
As we have grown, we have enhanced our skill, expertise and infrastructure to deal with the requests of our clients whilst, all the time, maintaining the highest levels of customer service that we have become renowned for. All of this has meant that we have gained stability and respect within the markets in which we operate and, for this we are very proud and extremely grateful.
Our team have been a key cog in the NB machine. Combine this with our band of loyal customers and our professional contacts and we can only foresee further growth and a growing, happy client base.
