Exeter born, Amy first joined Northcott Beaton in 2001 as a school leaver on a temporary basis. She has never managed to escape, instead rising through the ranks to her current job, dealing with new businesses, marketing and working with Northcott Beaton’s panel of insurers to seek out the best and most suitable policies. She loves the versatility of the job, team atmosphere and the satisfaction of gaining new clients.

Her childhood ambition of being a creative writer or author somewhat bombed when she realised she needed some creative writing skills. So instead she’s an avid reader of other people’s books and is a big fan of the BookBub app for great deals on the latest books.

As well as keeping fit and enjoying watching her son play rugby, Amy is the junior secretary and under 12’s team manager for Exeter Saracens’ Rugby Club.

She confesses to enjoying all the Peaky Blinders box sets. Her most treasured possessions are her music and headphones especially when in the gym or walking to work. Stephen Fry would be her perfect dinner guest and she’d like Cate Blanchette to play her in the biopic of her life.
